i always say there’s a reason for everything right?
i went to surf early this morning and the parking lot was full! so i went to jump on Mayuki instead of paddling out.
i get out to Bowls and it was packed! didn’t feel like surfing with 40 guys so i went to look around.
Ala Moana Beach Park was packed too! didn’t want to surf with 100 guys so this is when i decided to surf my secret spot. pulled up and it was only me, the ocean, and perfect barrels. i thought i was in heaven.
i get back to the yacht club and because Mayuki takes care of me, i decided to take care of her. so i polished her and she was shining so bright. i was about to leave but something told me to stay.
it was weird but i thought i’d check out the batteries. why? i don’t know, i just had a weird feeling.
i open up the cover and OMG! i shake the cable and it fell off! if this happened in the ocean, i would be stranded! i was tripping out.
i spent a few hours replacing the rusted cables. it’s a small problem when i’m tied up at the yacht club, but could have been a life threatening problem if i was way out at sea.
i truly believe there is a reason for everything. thank goodness the parking lot was full.
