i’d have to say that Nao-san was a very lucky girl these past 2 weeks because the weather was absolutely perfect every single day!
Nakahodo-san is also lucky because he’s surfing 10x better already. just a few adjustments and his level went up a lot.
there was a contest all day at Bowls yesterday so nobody could surf it. then it finished at 3pm and guess what? we paddled right over and nobody was out!!! we scored perfect waves!!! Nakahodo-san caught the longest rides of his life.
watching surfers improve in the water makes me very happy! it’s the ultimate reward.
thank you Nakahodo-san for the wonderful afternoon! see you again later this week.
this world is way too small! i was in the lineup yesterday and seen this guy i haven’t seen in a very long time. then it clicked! OMG, it was Minoru Ujita-san! a legend and most famous DJ in Japan. i known this guy from the first time i went to Roppongi back in 1992. we became friends and we still are 25 years later. i was so stoked to see him still surfing super good! had a great talk and can’t wait to check out his club next time i go to Roppongi!
there was a fishing contest in America and this is what they caught???? are you kidding me???? why would you want to kill a hammerhead shark????
and why would you want to kill a tiger shark???? i truly believe in karma.
speaking about killing. this kid from Punahou School killed seabirds on a camping trip and decided to post it to social media. not too smart kid. now he’s in jail and his life is pretty much ruined because bird lovers will never forgive him. after his parents probably spent about $300,000 on his education, they get this? OMG.
