i’ve been going to Shikoku for 25 years and just found out about this amazing restaurant. it’s like a market that sells all kinds of fresh fish. you can either buy it and take it home, or you can eat it right in the market. and it’s very cheap too!
i always eat fish we don’t have here in Hawaii, and this is one of them.
and this is the same one but bigger so i chose it. you pay for it at the counter, than take it to the next counter and pay 200 yen or $160 to have them cook it for you.
the 200 yen includes rice, miso soup, raw egg, and tsukemono. it doesn’t get any cheaper than this! and now that i know about this place, i’ll go back there every time i go to Shikoku.
and another place that has excellent food is in Wakayama. some raw steak with wasabi and shoyu. also something you won’t find in Hawaii.
taking a flight whether it’s domestic or international is like jumping in my car and driving down the street. no stress as i just go with the flow these days.
i tell all my friends to maximize their time once they arrive in Honolulu. so i better practice what i preach. one hour on an airplane, the next hour on the white sandy beach. enjoying the beautiful weather with beautiful friends.
then i get home and Mateus is at my house ready to play. i was gone for such a short time that he didn’t even know i left. haha.
