this cyber world is getting crazier and crazier these days. i got an email from a friend and if you know who he is, you probably got one too. check it out.
one of my friends sent me an email about needing help. he said he got mugged in the philippines and lost his money, passport, and everything. so he told me he needed $2,000 asap and told me to reply. at first, i was worried. of course i would help my friend out, but at the same time, i thought something was suspicious. so i texted another mutual friend to ask what happened. he told me that his email has been hacked. OMG! after thinking about it, i’m wondering how many of his friends or family actually sent the hackers money???
so hey, if you ever get an email from one of my email addresses, including my old AOL account asking for money, it’s 100% fake. there is no way i would be asking anybody for money so that can’t and wouldn’t be me. if i lost everything in the philippines, i would just live there. simple…
