had an amazing mid-morning surf with Yamabe-san. a girl who likes the challenge so i brought her a challenging board. usually i’d bring a easy to ride 11’0 but i brought the hard to ride 9’6 instead. omg, she rode it perfectly!
Yamabe-san traveled around the world to many countries so i ask her, “where is your favorite places?” she said “Okinawa and Hawaii. if i cannot go to Okinawa i will go to Hawaii. and if i cannot go to Hawaii i will go to Okinawa.” i thought that was the perfect answer. haha.
very energetic, very challenging, and a very good surfer.
just by talking to Yamabe-san, it made me want to go to Okinawa again. it’s so weird how i get inspired just by a few words from people who travel the world like i do. it just makes things a lot more clear. so yeah, i want to go to Okinawa now! haha.
Taiwan is another super cool place to go to. especially in the country parts where you can experience things like this. i ordered a chicken salad from this guy and it was very interesting.
you just put what you want into a bowl and he creates a beautiful tasty chicken salad.
i went big because it was the 4 of us.
i have no idea what this sauce was but it was super spicy.
