teaching kids how to surf is so fun. just to see the nervousness, excitement, and so many different expressions in their faces is cool.
and once they get up, it’s all so good! look at Teppei-kun on is first wave of the day!
and once you complete your first ride, all the nerves are gone. then the beautiful smiles appear.
Eito-kun caught really good ones too. nervous on the first wave, but super confident after.
yes, this is confidence. Eito-kun was named “Eight” because he was born on 8/8. that’s so cool!
Teppei-kun told me after this wave, “omg, i just rode a big one!” i told him “yes you did!” haha.
Eito-kun on a really nice one too.
these kids are classmates and now have a stronger bond that the ocean created. i’m sure they will never forget this amazing day!
then Papa Kondo-san paddled out and caught a few good ones too. i was surprise how good he surfed!
and the pure stoke! working together with Nao-san for Apple, i’m so stoked to have another Genius in my life! haha.
