Hashimoto-san is full of confidence and now his surfing is full of fun! look at this amazing wave he rode yesterday afternoon! 
if it wasn’t for the past 4 days of Boot Camp, this ride would have never happened. and Hashimoto-san knows that very well. 
on this trip, Hashimoto-san jumped 3 levels. i told him he graduated and took a huge leap to a much better surfing life. 
calm and cool. that’s what surfing is all about.

i played tourist yesterday evening during sunset time. it was so freaking beautiful in Waikiki. if i were a tourist, i’d feel like i’m in Heaven…
no green flash, but great flash of the day that just passed. 
then drove by Diamond Head right as the sun set. watched head high perfect waves peel like perfection. 
then the full moon popped up. Mother Nature is so amazing. 
then watched more and more perfect waves being unridden. i was almost going to grab my board and paddle out. but instead, i opened up a cold beer and gave a salute for a perfect day. cheers!
