i wanted to get a different angle this morning so i decided to ride directly behind Hashimoto-san. this is where trust comes into play. if i didn’t trust his surfing ability, i would never do this because it could be very dangerous. but now Hashimoto-san can surf really good now, i don’t mind riding right along the side of him. but if he fell, we’d both be in trouble. haha. and to think he was going straight only a few days ago? this is a major improvement in his surfing and confidence. i already knew Hashimoto-san had the ability to surf really good. the problem last week was he didn’t know that. so i didn’t really teach him anything about surfing, i taught him about being confident in and out of the water. now he got it! six straight days of Boot Camp turned Hashimoto-san into a very good surfer. you can see it in his smile how happy he is. i’m super proud of this guy! it was a picture perfect day for surfing. locals and tourists sharing waves in beautiful Hawaii. Hashimoto-san requested Mexican for lunch so i was super happy. i love Mexican and Horchata! after eating all this, i was so tired. haha.
anyway, waves around the whole island. surfers super stoked! tomorrow going surfing and surfing again! good night.
