most of you all know what one of my biggest dreams is. ever since i went on a boat trip to indonesia back in 1994, i always dreamed of owning my own boat so i can take my friends around the world on surf trips. throughout the past 17 years, i’ve been looking around. no, i don’t have the money for one, but seeing what’s out there gives me the motivation to dream bigger and bigger. i’ve even made appointments pretending i’m a millionaire just to be able go inside one. no joke. after seeing hundreds of boats, i was confused. sail boat? power boat? 100′? 40′?
well, now i finally saw, rode, and drove the the boat of my dreams. this boat is a 42′ made by a french company called Beneteau. it sleeps four comfortably, has a nice bathroom, nice salon, nice kitchen, and perfect size for me to take around even if i’m by myself. it’s a smooth ride and travels at 25 knots. that means i will get to molokai in 1.5 hours even on a rough day. it’s a full luxury boat but why not dream big? brand new it cost 1.5 million dollars. second hand, much cheaper.
so now that i have the perfect boat on my mind, i can focus on how to get one. i’m far from it but for every dollar i put on the side, i’m that much closer. check out my dream boat and i promise i will get one before i die. and if happen to be a friend of mine, get ready for the boat trip of your life!
