once a month, i must eat homemade salted meat with luau leaves, lomilomi salmon, and poi. that’s the Hawaiian in me.
still working on the truck. had to get a new license plate because the other one was smashed. luckily there were no people at the Satellite City Hall. usually i wait in line for hours….
i was in and out in 5 minutes. paid $5.50 for new plates and it was that cheap and simple.
after getting into my accident, i seriously thought about how bad it could have been. but now looking at this other accident a couple days ago on the West Side, mine was minor. one young man who was riding in the back seat of his friends car died. sad.
and last night as i was passing by Waikiki, the roads were closed. come to find out, a guy was speeding down the wrong way and lost control of his car. he died too. scary thought that i would have been driving on that same exact road to get home just a few minutes before if i didn’t stop off at another store in Waikiki. things like this really make you think.
