after a very successful free dive trip, it was automatic that we were going to have a super good dinner. it’s very rare to have 2 fat Kumu’s in a cooler like this so fast.
hooked up with some friends and took our fish to the best Chinese restaurant. doesn’t this look amazing? even the chef came out and said “wow, those Kumu’s are the best!”
Takahashi-san speared this one so he was the lucky one to take the first bite. omg, it was so good!
then mine came out as black bean style. omg, amazing!
thank you Takahashi-san, Maki-san, and Takami-san for the wonderful champagne and dinner. so stoked to know you guys for so many years!
Aoi went to sleep outside one night and got attacked by mosquitoes. he ended up getting 54 bites and couldn’t sleep good for the rest of the trip. i told him “good experience.” haha. after that, he never slept outside again.
his body was itchy and swollen everywhere. i told him “good experience.” haha. this is how you become tough. and yes, this kid became tougher after each day.
