Gardening Therapy

246

thank you Takahashi-san for sending me these photo of this mornings Honolulu Marathon. fireworks at 5am? omg!

i still can’t believe that over 16,000 Japanese flew to Hawaii to run the marathon. that’s amazing. and also good for our economy.

i’m wondering how Nara-san did??? i’m sure she did great after those 2 days of surfing.

came home and did some gardening. super therapeutic as i replanted my avocado tree and rosemary plant into bigger pots.

i finally went through all the procedures to get into the prison. body searched and everything. it was my first time and to tell you the truth, i was nervous. but when i saw this kid that i love so much walk out to meet me, i had a hard time holding back my tears. it’s been 4 years since he’s been locked up and he’s grown so much. ever since he got into trouble, i told him that i’ll always be here for him through the good and the bad. i’ll never give up on him. after our hour conversation, i was very sad leaving there knowing he couldn’t come home with me.

then surfed with Asayama-san this evening. super energetic and super improved! he was surfing so good today!

waves were small but so was the crowd. we surfed until dark and had so much fun.

i still can’t believe how calm Asayama-san is. just enjoying each and every wave so comfortably.

smiling all the way.

welcome back to Hawaii Asayama-san. Boot Camp started today so get ready for some challenging days ahead. keep calm and go naminori…
