had an amazing surf this morning with Uemrua-san. so happy the summer weather is back! super warm, super sunny, clean water, and long rides.
Uemura-san surfs in Chiba which is really cold during the winter months. so i told her “it’s only cold when you fall. so don’t fall.” we worked on surfing perfectly from start to finish. and then she never fell.
if you can surf, not fall, and keep your hair dry, you don’t have to be so cold. for the past 7 days, i never got my hair wet not even once. so yes, you can do it too!

not too many places in the world you can get served raw chicken. next time i go back to Japan, i’ll definitely visit this place again. it was so good!
