since i got up at 3am with eyes wide open, i thought i’d take a walk. i wasn’t looking for a park or a beach, i was looking for a Sukiya restaurant. one of my favorite breakfast in the world!
my eyes aren’t the best when i’m looking far away, but i can spot out the red Sukiya or orange Yoshinoya sign in a heartbeat. can you see it too?

i order the raw egg and fish set. then i get a side order of natto and switch the miso soup for tongiru.
this is what it looks like. the most amazing power breakfast.
all for 590 yen or about $5.50. then i put back on my down jacket and walk 10 minutes back to my hotel in the 5 degree weather. a great start to a wonderful day!
