i could feel another swell coming yesterday when i was in the water. in fact, these where the biggest waves i seen at Bowls in months.
so stoked surfing with Toshi-san. super nice guy that loves to surf and surf.
great surfing again!
this was our last wave and it turned out to be our best wave! always best to end the session on a high note.

been seeing this girl out surfing Ala Moana. as soon as i saw her board, i knew where she was probably from. and yes, she’s from Shikoku! Minami-chan is an amazing surfer that was taken under the wings of Kaori-chan. one champion making another champion.
at 17 years old, Minami-chan has a dream to become a World Champion. i was watching her surf and she was looking strong and smooth. that’s what it takes to become a Champion so she’s on the right track.
got the walking game too. and got the power surfing game.

the WSL did a big article on Josh Moniz. a very good article with words coming straight from Josh. “My Goal is to Qualify.” i’m sure he will make the WCT Tour but i’m hoping sooner than later. go for it kid, the whole Hawaii has your back!
