i’ve known pro bodyboarder megu-chan for about 15 years. from charging death defying 10′ pipeline, to razor sharp reefs in okinawa, i’ve got to know her pretty well. a really positive person, and a really big heart. megu-chan was the reason for the Wa-syoi project in sendai. she organized it, she got all the people together, and she was the leader. July 25th was a turing point for the victims in sendai. it was a day to smile, a day to move forward, and a day to have fun. megu-chan, great job!!!!
when you see your friend taking action into putting together such a successful project, you can’t be any happier. i was really proud of megu-chan for turning things around. and i was really happy to be there and share the moment with everybody. to everybody in sendai, keep on smiling!
