just read the MidWeek newspaper. had a very interesting article about Kimi Werner. her passion for spearfishing has made her a worldwide hero. i’d surely love to dive with her someday because her way of thinking is truly inspiring. i have much respect for that girl.
catching the smallest waves couldn’t have been more exciting. just ask Carter. we pull back on chest high waves all day long. haha.
had this photo on my desktop for a while. every time i needed a smile, i’d just look at Kimura-san. haha.
Matsu took this photo in Taiwan. another photo that makes me smile.
ok, i just talked a friend into doing what i did. that’s to take the red eye flight to LAX, transfer to a 1am flight to El Salvador, arrive there at 7am, take a taxi to the base of a live volcano, hike up 8 hours, sleep in a freezing cold tent, no food and no toilet, and experience the craziest thing ever. but i told her to take proper hiking shoes unless you want to get blisters from sneakers like me. haha. good luck girl!
and make sure your hotel has a security guard that carries a shotgun standing at the entrance. they’re there for a reason.
speaking about traveling, check out the rubbish in Indonesia. the deepest parts of the country are still way behind in sustainability.
and i’ve used a toilet like this before. there’s no toilet paper, or no water. your poop just drops into the river. it’s pretty hard core, but it’s reality. so go to your beautiful toilet in your home and kiss it to show your appreciation…
