all i have to say it that Hara-san couldn’t have picked a better time to surf in Hawaii. the waves were absolutely perfect this morning. we surfed Bowls and Hara-san caught some nice sets!
local surfer David surfs the rights every single day. he’s 60 years old and loving life…
Hara-san is loving life too. just a very happy man with a lot of happy waves.
i think he caught over 25 waves today. i just kept watching Hara-san go and go.

and yeah, since i got back on a regular surfboard, i still didn’t forget how to get barreled. this was the only barrel i seen come in all day and guess who pulled inside it? me. haha.
such a lovely day with a very positive and happy man.

i had a great conversation in English with the 2 lovely girls Mili-chan and Kai-chan. so smart and so great English speakers. bright futures ahead.
then went to check the waves after lunch and seen the South swell still looking solid. headed to a secret spot and surfed some amazing waves this afternoon. i was so happy to do some off the lips!
then headed for a family BBQ party. Micah always taking care of the grill. cooking everything till perfection.
and Kelia in the kitchen preparing the rest. so happy to sit back and watch my nephews and nieces prepare their style of cooking. it was delicious from start to finish…
