as a surfer, this is the first time i used ANA and i have to say that i like it! why? because surfboards are free! i took 4 surfboards with me on this trip and they all got here safely.
when i was flying over Chiba, i couldn’t believe how big the waves were! i was watching and dreaming in my mind on how i would foil these waves. someday i will!
so cool to see different landscapes in other countries. this is Indonesia…
after a 8 hour flight, 5 hour layover, and another 7 hour flight, we made it safely to Jakarta. another 7 hour layover, another flight, and a very long drive more to go.
Jakarta airport just built another Terminal. T3 is super big and really clean.

then a domestic flight to our finally destination. took forever to get here, but well worth the time and effort. i’m sitting here at 11am after surfing 2 rounds already. super good barreling waves right out in front of our resort. going to eat lunch, take a nap, and go for a foil or dive. life is good…
