traveling to deep places in Indo is interesting. the nicest people with beautiful smiles. you just never who you will be sitting at the airport with…
our 7 hour drive was pretty crazy. if you see how these guys drive here, you wouldn’t believe it. our driver had a police siren so he was blasting it to get by cars and motorcycles. he was doing that for 7 hours and we were all laughing… took a food stop and ate traditional Indonesian food. here is Matsu filing up his plate.
this was my plate. healthy, cheap, and delicious.
except for Eri-chan, this is all of our first time to South Sumatra. and yeah, we are all loving it so far… thanks for the photo Kimura-san.
stopped by to pick up some fruits. interesting varieties and beautiful colors…
i was trying to get a natural kind of photo because i like natural kinds of photos.
then guess who ruined my natural photo? haha.
we were all happy to survive our crazy ride and journey here. now it’s relax and surfing time everyday for the next week.
with the heaviest storm hit us yesterday evening, we seen lighting bolts hitting the water while we surfed. but when one came way too close to us, we all paddled back in. it was actually kind of scary. want to thank Matsu for going back to my room in the pouring rain to get my Jacksan. haha.
finally got to sleep in a bed! woke up 4am, did some yoga, and had the most amazing day…
