took out Mayuki yesterday and went for a dive. i was watching the perfect waves thinking “i should have brought my foil board!”
the girls started diving and i kept on watching the waves because it wouldn’t stop.
i was image surfing with my foil. see that left? i’ll be there next time foiling all day long. that’s the perfect wave!
then it was time to clean the bottom again. going to pull Mayuki out today for her annual maintenance. time, and money…
the gas tanks are totally empty so Mayuki is very light now. i took her up over 34 knots or 40mph. we were flying!
it wasn’t the best day for diving, but if you know where to dive, it could still be pretty successful.
some pan fry Kole, and this prized Japanese Knifejaw.
want to congratulate the boys on their diving this past weekend. that’s some delicious fish! good job boys!
i bought everything that’s needed for this years service. want to know how much it cost? don’t ask unless you want to pay for it. haha.
needs a new coat of bottom paint too. just that gallon of paint cost $300. and the labor costs 3x that amount. so you better think again if you want to upkeep a boat. i always tell my friends it’s cheaper to upkeep your girlfriend…
i forgot how fun the small playful days were in South Sumatra. wish i could have foiled this wave but it was way to shallow…
