before i left, i pulled out Mayuki for yearly maintenance. had some friends come down to join the party while i was gone.
one week later, she is looking so fine! can’t wait to get her back in the water this weekend. just have a couple more minor things to do…
new bottom paint and a nice polish all around. looking so sweet!
came home and watched the news of another house being taken by nature. i really don’t understand why people build houses on top of live volcanos anyway? no insurance, no refunds…
then another High School shooting in Texas in the morning.
then another High School shooting in Georgia in the evening. nowhere is safe anymore.
what did i eat in Japan? this!
i was walking through a store when i seen a Japanese man with interesting shorts. he had a white stripe with black lettering that read “Fuck Yesterday.” that’s a phrase i use all the time. pretty much means “forget the past. live in the present.”
anyway, went surfing and got lucky with this new South Swell! tomorrow i’m surfing all day!!!
