as an avid ramen lover, i love to try new places. this one was recommended to me by someone who knows what good ramen is. so i go there and order the biggest one. why not?
if you like oily tonkotsu, this is amazing. and the pork was huge! i ate every little thing to the last drop. then i was full of oil so when dinner time came, i went to look for something light to eat. maybe fish?
recommend by the same friend, i went to check this place out. i look over the menu, order a beer, and when i saw “maguro kama” or “ahi collar” on the menu, i had to get it.
but first out was the fried tofu. great!
i order a half of a collar, and the guy brings me out a whole color. i told him “i ordered the half, not the whole. there is no way i can eat this.” he said “opps, i made a mistake, you can have the whole piece for the half price.”
so i start eating tried my best. after a quarter, i was getting full. after a half, i was full. it didn’t taste good anymore as i was forcing it down. i don’t like to waste fish, so i pretty much had to eat it all.
then i was walking back to my hotel thinking “omg, i ate way too much today. i better exercise. so i’ll wake up early tomorrow morning and walk, walk, and walk…
