i ask my brother “is the motorcycle permit test hard?” he said “you
have to study.” i ask my other friends “is the motorcycle test hard?”
they all said “you better study.” me? no way. i can pass that so easily.
i don’t study, i wait in line for 45 minutes, the give me the test,
there are 25 questions, 5 or less wrong is passing. it took me 10
minutes, i was confident, i give the test to the lady, she checks it
right in front of me. then…. “sorry sir, you got 6 wrong.”
what!!!!! are you kidding??? i honestly thought she was joking! my
happy smile face turned blue. i was shocked!!! i freaking flunked the
motorcycle permit exam… OH MY GOSH!!!! i walked out of that office
with my head between my ass.
i have to wait a week to take it again. here i am driving around hawaii
on a harley davidson and i can’t even pass the permit. i felt stupid, i
felt ignorant, and all the confidence i had, was all but gone. i might
be the first 4.0 college graduate in the world to fail such a simple
exam. come next week, i’m walking in that room, i’m taking the test,
and i’m freaking passing it. and if i don’t, i will never ride a
motorcycle ever in my life. will i study? probably not. why? because
i have absolutely no time! can you believe the suitcase i came back
from japan with is still in my living room unpacked? my first priority
in life is to surf, next is to work, next is to dive, and last is to
study. i’m a busy man. haha.
