it’s 4am on day 3 and i’m so jet lagged! can’t sleep at all! so instead of trying to fall back asleep, i’m on my computer with nishi, shun, and hansen sleeping next to me. the snoring continues.
like always, time is flying. lots of things happening, and can’t keep up. the TSSC contest yesterday was amazing. been coming here for the past 16 years for this contest and it just gets better and better. the waves were good, the level of surfing was great. want to congratulate everybody who entered! full gallery coming on Go-Naminori.com.
i’ve known Kat for 4 years? since the first time i met her in chiba, i knew that her talent was going to take her far. such a sweet girl with such a positive look on life. a few albums later, Kat’s touring japan and the timing of her being in shikoku couldn’t have been more perfect. she came to our party last night for a surprise live concert. it was awesome!
4 years ago, i asked Kat to play a song and she played “Thank you for thinking of me.” ever since then, that song has been stuck in my head. i wish i could sing it back to her. Hey Kat, it was nice to see you. thanks for coming and “Thank you for thinking of me.” i wish you the best in your music career and you gained a lot of new fans. keep on surfing.
another cool musician is Bob-san from Bob Surf Shop in tokushima. we go years back. bob has been surfing haleiwa every year since 1978. a really cool guy and great surfer. thank you bob for picking me up from tokushima airport.
last, the night before i left hawaii, i saw a little bug jumping around in my living room. i looked closely and it was a little tiny baby frog. cool! this is my new pet. any good ideas for a name?
