Staying calm and staying focused at 11 years old! Good boy Shinosuke!
Good morning 3:15am.
Ala Moana waist high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Trade winds at 15mph.
Sunny and warm.
Going to the sea.

All Day Photo Sessions
Round 1: It was so fun surfing with the Niokawa-san family. Papa caught so many good waves on both the shortboard and longboard.

We had so much fun surfing the long perfect waves.
Next was 16 year old Junosuke’s turn as I cheer him on from the side. Great balance.
The front photo and side photos are my favorite. That’s why I always try to get both angles. 
Then the star of the day was 11 year old Shinosuke. He was so brave and so happy. 
After every wave, he paddled back out with the biggest smile on his face. And even though he can’t speak English, he said “VERY VERY ENJOY!!!” That was so cute! Thank you boys for the amazing morning photo session! 
Round 2: Back out surfing with the girls. Miwa-san started surfing because of Covid and her life has changed for the better. So nice to see her smiling and surfing. 
The waves were good all day long! 
Mighty Mouse is finally riding her 5’10 high performance surfboard. It took some time but now she’s very comfortable on it. Easier to turn, easier to duck dive, and easier to get so excited!
