Small town surf. Summer is over?
Good morning 4:30am.
Ala Moana knee high and clean.
Diamond Head waist high and bumpy.
Trade winds at 15mph.
Sunny and warm.
Going to surf.

Victory at Sea
A teenager on his kayak went missing yesterday evening off Waikiki. Noland Keaulana jumped on his boat and went to look for him. He did a 100 mile search for 10 hours and against all the odds, found the kid. 
I woke up this morning and watched the news just as they found the kid. Noland was very emotional telling his story. OMG, I had the chills listening to his story as it could have been anyones kid. Stories of missing people out in the ocean overnight usually don’t have a happy ending like this.
What is there to learn about this? Always have a partner when you go out in the ocean. Always keep calm. And always have hope as the best of the best watermen in the world are out there looking for you. What an amazing story!
