been going to the post office a lot this week. just wanted to let those of you who ordered “ONE” tshirts that it’s on the way. i was in line yesterday and over heard a soft spoken voice behind me ask the postman “excuse me, i want to send some snacks to my friend in japan, how do i do it?” i look back and see one of hawaii’s biggest and heaviest local surfers. he was once a pipeline masters champion but i don’t want to say his name. i was touched by his kindness. he stuffed a box with hawaiian snacks and shipped it to his friend in japan. we said our hellos, small hug, and left it at that. we both know what we were doing there. we both love japan….
