good morning. 6am on this sunday morning. waves all around the island. the north shore looks pretty good. they are going to finish the world cup at sunset beach contest on this last day of the waiting period. i’ll put my money on a hawaiian surfer winning it. the waves look 6-8′ and semi clean now but expect west winds to make junky conditions by 9am. town has some shoulder high clean waves and a lot of surfers or on it already. well, huge swell coming tomorrow and possibly eddie aikau contest at waimea bay. i’m getting my bike ready and if the contest is on, i’m going to get photos from every angle possible. anyway, have a beautiful sunday!

going to the UH football games are so exciting. well, not so exciting when you lose. we lost last night so the beers didn’t taste so good….. bummer…

i wanted to congratulate yumie on her new website. i just looked at it and i like it a lot. great design, great person, and super positive vibe. there are not many people i’ve met in my life that have changed the way i think and the way i do things. but ever since i met yumie, my life has changed in a good way. too much to explain in a blog but this girl is special. super positive, super strong, and super energetic. i’m stoked to see her accomplishing her goals in life. i was at the gym yesterday and started to get the feeling back again. it’s been a long time and all the weights felt so dam heavy. dive/surf/yoga/gym training start!!

i pulled up to bowls this morning and seen some freak sets! solid overhead and super fun!!! i had a great session…

i went to watch the keiki hula christmas special this afternoon at ward warehouse. the girl were so cute!! i just couldn’t stop laughing….

this group stole the show. they did a tahitian dance shaking their little butts. it was so funny!!!
