today i had a photo shoot with aaron. aaron is a surfer, musician, artist, and a cool guy. we have a lot in common, for example, same intermediate school, same high school, surf, and japan. wait!! i better stop right now. we shot today for an upcoming article for GO-NAMINORI.COM. stay tuned and you will find out more about this guy named “aaron”……

we couldn’t have picked a better day to shoot photos. the weather was perfect!! since we are both from kaiser high school, what better place would you choose to take photos? yup, right in hawaii kai!!

then we went to my favorite japanese bento place in hawaii. Iyasume has the best bentos on the island. try the fried garlic chicken. oh my gosh!!!

i know one of the workers there so i think my bentos are bigger than normal. can you believe i ate all of this??

*thanks aaron for today. we live in a small world and it was fun talking story and connecting up our friends. and have a safe flight back to japan tomorrow. next time i fly over there, let’s hook up for sure!!!

South Shore Nami aru yo!!!

good morning. 7am on this chilly north wind aloha friday. waves looking terrible around the island. north shore is stormy onshore. town is bumpy from yesterdays south/west wind but there is some swell. shoulder high sets. the north winds are supposed to pick up today and if it does, the whole south shore will clean up and be pretty good. going to have a relaxing day. hope you have one too….

this is what my hand looked like 3 days after my surgery. that was a month ago. as things started to heal up, it was looking good. then a few days ago, it started to hurt again and it seemed like something was coming out. what??? yeah, the doctor forgot to remove a stitch…..

so after we went diving the other day, dive buddy dr. itoman offered to remove the tiny stitch that was embedded in the cut. pain all over again..

razor blade? flash light? mosquitos? back yard surgery….

i experienced the most pain in this past year than in my whole entire life…. thanks kyle@redseaadventures.com for the photo…

here’s something that will make my pain go away. the smile of my nephew noah’s little son noah…. kawaii…
