good morning. 5am and it’s pitch dark outside. it’s been a long time since i dawn patrolled so i’m looking forward to it. the waves? don’t know, can’t see. i’ll give you the report when i get back. have a nice day!!

the other night had such a cool moon rising over the mountain. i had to stop to get a photo….

i was in china town the other day and came across this cool pigs face. i thought the ones in okinawa were scary but this one even smelt scary. i’m so happy because i just found my halloween costume. i bought it for $5.50 and it’s in my freezer. this halloween’s going to be a stinky one….

i don’t know how i got this photo but this is takahashi-san and i. i’ll be in okinawa very soon doing the same thing, drinking!! kanpai!!!

and i still can’t believe demi moore is 46 years old. imagine her dropping in on you? it’s ok right? haha..

i’m only back here for 10 days and all i wanted to do was to dive for 1 day. today, my dream came true. and when it comes to diving, screw the waves and screw everything. i have to dive to make my surfing better, my body better, and my mind better. and if i don’t dive, i would be an asshole so when that dive day comes, stay out of my way!!!

diving and surfing are alike in many ways. it’s a surfers dream to have glassy conditions like this. and it’s also a divers dream. a lot of surfers and divers must have been happy today!!! i sure was. you couldn’t ask for better conditions then this….

i was feeling pretty comfortable today lying on the bottom waiting for the fish to come on by. even though i haven’t dove for a while, my bottom time was pretty good. i felt so relaxed down there and when a fish came into distance, it was just too easy. this was only round 1. by the way, i had a shot at a huge GT and blew it. i dropped down, looked into the cave head first instead of gun first, and these 2 huge GT’s swam right up to me. by the time i turned my gun on them, they saw me and ran away. shit, that sucked. i won’t forget where that hole is and i’m going back there and getting one, or two. anyway, i want to thank kyle and eric for a wonderful diving day!!! let’s do it again!!!

and last, look at my cute doggie. this was 14 years ago and my doggie is still right here sitting on the side of me. kawaii ne….
