good evening. what a wonderful day it was here in hawaii. dawn patrol is the best way to start off a day. after that, everything is just bonus… i’m soooo tired and burnt out. i’m going to take a cold shower to cool off and go to sleep. last minute travel just came up. i have to wake up tomorrow morning at 3:30am. i’m going on a 2 day trip. surf/dive/explore/fun. yeah, that’s what my life is all about… have a great evening…
takami-san caught so many good waves today. imagine staying at the ilikai overlooking kaisers. wake up, check the waves, walk to the beach, and surf!! what a vacation…
i remember watching toda-san stand up paddle at his home break in japan last year. he had to take off on his knees because he just started. now, he freaking surfs so good. that’s what you call “TALENT”….
i had a photo shoot with honey girl swimsuits team this morning. all i have to say is “i love my job….”
i’m not supposed to post the photos from today on my blog but because it is Haunani’s birthday, i’m going to. this is haunani. she’s photogenic as you can get. if i wasn’t such an amateur photographer and cut off her arm, this would have been a poster, cover shot, or something. happy birthday haunani, and sorry haunani….
and last, i found a nice flower today. so nice that i had to stop by to take a photo. hope this lights up your day as it did mine….
Kaisers Photo Shoot with Honey Girls…..
Dawn Patrol….
DAWN PATROL KAISERS WITH ERI-CHAN…..
Canon, Hawaii…..
good morning. 6am and it’s looking pretty foggy outside. no clear blue sky today. oh my gosh!!! i have a photo shoot so i’m pretty shocked!!! the waves are still small, clean, and fun. well, gotta do what i have to do. hope it clears up. have a nice day and see you in the water….
i just bought a used camera off ebay so i took it to canon in hawaii to have it checked. they will clean the sensor and check out everything for $30. it takes 5 business days… umm…. i wonder if every thing will be ok…
the photos hanging on the wall are just amazing. check out the full moon photo at waikiki. i still don’t understand how to take a full moon photo. every time i try, the moon looks so small. why is that?
underwater photos always amaze me. i’ve seen hawaiian monk seals so many times while i’m diving. they just swim around you and look you right in the eye. it’s pretty cool…
photos are inspiring and i’ll tell you why. after i seen this photo, it made me want to take a photo like this, or even a better one. i know where a whole lot of turtles swim in clean water. next time instead of taking my speargun with me, i’m taking my fisheye camera and am going to get a shot like this. the only thing different will be there will be no bubbles from a scuba tank. it will just be the turtle swimming in pure tranquility… shit, i can’t wait…..
and last, want to congratulate my little nephew seth moniz for making the honolulu advertiser newspaper yesterday morning. good job seth!!
