good morning. 6:30 am on this cold north wind aloha friday. [:???:][:???:] gosh, i think it’s the first time this year we had strong north winds? i’m freezing… well, the waves on the north shore i how big? i don’t know. it’s so onshore and stormy that i can’t tell the size. town is waist high and straight off shore!! i feel sorry for surfers today because it’s a terrible day for surfing. but for divers, if you know where to go, you can score. so this is how i feel. i’m bummed because the waves are shitty, but at the same time, stoked because it’s a great day for diving!!! see you under the water….

there is a airplane wreck sitting in 110′ deep water off hawaii kai. it’s called the Corsair Airplane that crashed in 1946. i’ve heard a lot about it but never actually been there. my friend just gave me the coordinates so i just inputed into my GPS. my mission is to go there and free dive it TODAY. i heard there are some big tiger sharks out there but that ain’t stopping me. i’m taking my speargun, and my camera with me and hopefully i can catch some big fish and some cool images like this…

and last, i parked at the zoo yesterday. i put in a quarter like usual because i was going to be there for an hour. then i looked close and it only gave me 15 minutes? huh??? oh my gosh, they raised the metered parking 4 x more. that sucks….. now surfing queen’s is going to be a lot more expensive…..

good evening. we had south/west winds today, which is the worst winds for the island. everywhere is pretty much onshore and junky. i guess that’s good for me because i was working on the next go-naminori mag. gosh, there are going to be some cool stuff in there. the thing i’m learning is that making a magazine is a huge project that takes so much time and effort. everybody here is working overtime and there seems to be no end. now i can really sit back and thank surf1st, surfing world, surfing life, surf trip journal, surfer girls, flipper, and all the other magazines in japan for their hard work. now i understand the hard work and dedication it takes. so just wanted to say thanks again….
as for the waves, expect junky conditions tomorrow and slowly cleaning up over the weekend. see you back in the morning….

there is a really good yakitori restaurant in osaka. they serve cooked chicken and uncooked chicken. every part is edible and really good. that is the raw chicken heart on the left and i think that’s the balls on the right… i heard if you eat this, you will get magical powers…. i forgot what happened to me that night… haha…

and this is raw chicken breast. gosh, i wish we had things like this in hawaii….. i can’t wait to go back to osaka!!!
