good morning. 5:45 am and i’m starting to get into north shore mode. sleep early, wake up early, and surf early. if you want to get good waves, that’s the way to do it. it’s dark outside and buoy 1 is broken so i’ll just have to guess on the waves. ummm… i’d say 3-6′ and perfect because there is no wind now. where’s good? everywhere!!! i’m going surfing then watch the contest if it’s on. then going to get some crispy chicken from “The Market”, then watch the UFC fight tonight. this week the waves are looking good everyday. light winds for glassy conditions until wednesday or so when the north winds will mess up the surf. perfect time to go diving!!!

for the past 2 afternoons, i’ve been coming home from the north shore and working on my boat with my brother. since i’ve been traveling so much this year, my boat has been sitting in the garage. that’s the worst thing for a boat because the salt water just corrodes everything. what was broken? the steering was frozen, the starter was broken, the wires were corroded and messed up, the battery was dead, and the boat was super dirty. if i took it in to the boat repair shop, it would have cost over $1,000 for repairs and taken 2 weeks….


but when your brother is a mechanic, the only thing that cost money is the parts. i was lucky and paid only $125. and once my boat started up, i was so happy!!! i washed it, got it ready, and i’m going to take it in the water very soon. and check out the new top. no sunburn anymore!!! i can’t wait to pull up to kaneohe sandbar with my bbq set, a few steaks, friends, and have some fun!!!


tiger woods is still getting harassed by the media. he lost his sponsors gatorade and gillette. nike is still standing by him. but now, tiger said he’s quitting golf. oh my gosh!!! the golf industry is going to lose billions of dollars from today. tiger is golf. and without tiger, there’s no golf….


UFC 107 PENN VS. SANCHEZ TONIGHT!! this is going to be an awesome fight. i want bj penn to win but sanchez is an animal. all i know that it’s going to be a good fight and i ain’t missing it!!! [:?????????:]

good evening. after that giant eddie aikau swell, all the sand got washed off the beach and formed the best sandbars i’ve ever seen. i pulled up to log cabins this morning around 7 am and i couldn’t believe it. there were no rocks and it looked like a perfect sandbar. all sand and perfect barrels!!! i surfed with mar ono early in the morning. like usual, mar was ripping. then i came in to take a break, then surfed again. left at 10:30 with a happy face…. all the sand that are usually on the beach is now in the water forming perfect sandbars everywhere. daniel jones told me that there are places breaking in front of his house that never broke before.
so if your a sandbar lover, get your ass over to hawaii now. these perfect sandbars won’t last forever….

getting up and surfing early has its benefits. it’s uncrowded, glassy, and no stress. i was driving back to town at 10:30 am with the full day ahead of me… can’t beat that!!!

i drove pass laniakea on the way back and it looked fun there too. i think everywhere was 3-5′ and perfect today!! more swells coming on the north shore. and another surprise south swell starting sunday… yeah!!!

the winds are going to be good next week for some diving. i was working all day on my boat with my brother yesterday. can’t wait to get it back in the water!!!
