good morning. still some waves out on the north shore. looking fun in the 3′ range. clean and sunny. town is knee high. good for diving. ummm… tempted but shouldn’t go. my foot is feeling good and should be healed in a few more days. i’ll probably be on my computer all day today getting things sorted. photos, videos, and emails. help!! anyway, have a nice day….

this is the kuala terangganu bus station. 10 hours away by bus from kuala lumpur, or 1 hour by airplane. if you want to go deep into malaysia and not bump into a single tourist, this is where to go….

then if you want to jump on a bus that takes you deeper into malaysia, pay $2 and enjoy the bumpy ride….

i thought i’d get my nokia phone serviced while i was in malaysia. there are these little shops set up around the local bus stations everywhere. these guys are top technicians in what they do. my phone was in 30 pieces within a minute. i was a bit worried. by the way, it still works….

good evening. hey everybody, thanks for the calls today telling me that the waves were going off. i’m still in barrel heaven and ain’t ready to snap out of it yet. give me a few more days and i’ll see you all in the water. you can take any wave you want because i’m just going out to have a good time. i’m going to surf perfect barrels again in june so i ain’t in any rush… have a great evening…..

when ever i get a cut on my foot in a third world country, it gets infected really fast. i guess because everything is dirty. it got pretty bad in malaysia so as soon as i got home, i jumped in the water to clean it out. then yesterday, my long dive fins were rubbing my cut all day long. it was killing me. but at the same time, i could feel the poisons coming out. when i got home last night, my cut was clean and fresh. fresh like it just happened. it’s not swollen anymore and it will heal properly. well, that’s if i don’t go diving for a while.. haha.. it takes a lot to keep me out of the water…

this guy from spain sent me an email asking me why the heck do i have dead fish around my waist. it’s because i put it there so i don’t have to swim back to the boat after every fish i get. plus, it attracts more fish. and sharks too… the first time i seen my friend diving like this, i thought he was freaking crazy. now i guess i’m crazy… it’s not too smart diving like this and i don’t recommend it at all….

what’s going on in this world? this guy in china took this girl hostage. these things shouldn’t happen. why don’t a cop just put a bullet right between the guys eyes? that would end it pretty quick…
**i was at my mom’s house today and kelia was there. i asked her about her blog and she told me that her computer crashed so she couldn’t do it for a while. so i told her i will do it for her. blog by kelia….

hi there, how is everything going? i’ve been getting ready for my trip to california for the volcom VQS contest. hey guys, i’ve been ripping. i can do airs and tail slides. my brothers are all sick so i’m staying away. my uncle kirby is the best uncle in the whole wide world. uncle kirby rips, gets barreled, and surfs better than kelly slater. i wish i could be like my uncle someday and travel around the world surfing good waves. my brothers also think uncle kirby is the best surfer in the world. they all love him and said that they will wash his car one time a week. and wax his surfboard before he surfs. gosh, my uncle kirby is the man….
