hey everybody in hawaii. did you hear about the new blackberry cel phone that just came out in hawaii? you can actually use it in japan too. it’s the first time a phone like this came out. should i buy one? no way. why would i want to get calls at 2am in japan, or 7am hawaii time from friends that want to know how diamond head is? that’s not going to happen. i love my japanese cel phone because not too many people know my number so it hardly ever rings… slow life…

this was 5 years ago on a boat somewhere in north sumatra. we were celebrating tokura-san’s 55th birthday. and in a few weeks, we will be celebrating tokura-san’s 60th birthday somewhere in north sumatra. the journey continues….

and this is 8 years ago on a boat in indonesia. we were coming back from the mentawai’s and STRIKE!!! we caught a 100lbs swordfish. it was freakin crazy…. this year, we want bigger!!!

and last. i’m going to take my video camera to explore the beautiful islands of indonesia. talk story with the locals, have a few beers, get bit by mosquitos, and hopefully don’t catch malaria. live life dangerously….
