good evening. dawn patrolled pipe and ehukai this morning and was surprised to see jun jo, todd mitsui, trinko, dane kealoha, egan inoue, dane isono, angela maki, yumie, aoi koike and the rest of the bodyboard chicks out. i guess everybody knew where the spot was…. i surfed pipe/backdoor/ehukai and then took some photos of the action. it was cloudy but so what. everybody was ripping!!!
jun jo knows when to show up to surf. and when he shows up, he not only surfs, he kills the waves!!! he was ripping hard on his kelly slater custom shaped surfboard….
coco ho just came back from australia. she surfed the first WCT of the year and placed 3rd. you know what that means? this young girl is ranked #3 in the world right now…. how’s this turn? oh my gosh… style, power, and grace. look familiar? yeah, kelly slate kine….
angela maki was the only longboarder out in the morning. know what that means? sit on the outside, wait for a good wave, and go. she caught so many good waves this morning….
todd mitsui was always underground and still is underground. he comes out of nowhere and rips harder than anybody else….
yumie, yumi, and chi-chan were surfing at pipe this morning. then they came over to ehukai for some action…. photos coming tomorrow…. good night…

Bye Bye Hawaii Super Ferry!!!
good morning. 5:30am and i bet the waves are just as beautiful as yesterday. will find out soon. i’m out of here… have a great day!!!
**remember the super ferry? now you see it, now you won’t…. yeah, somebody screwed up on making exceptions in the laws to let the super ferry operate. they got busted and now the ferry service is stopped from today. congratulations to go airlines and hawaiian airlines…. your stock should be going up as i’m writing this blog…
last summer, i went to maui using the super ferry with mito, ayako, and aki. we all had cars but nobody wanted to take theirs on the ferry. why? because nobody wanted their cars stuck on maui. we ended up renting one… gosh, i feel sorry for all the people who’s cars are stuck on maui now….
the day we went, the ocean was as flat as it gets. perfect conditions for a perfect trip. gosh, i had a great time with these girls…
V.I.P all the way there, and back… gosh, i’m going to miss the super ferry….
