good morning. north shore? forget it. south? forget it. west? forget it. west winds are the worst for waves on oahu but if you know where to look on the east side, you could have the session of your life. i heard sandy beach was 8′ yesterday. and i just got off the phone with a friend from the east side just now. 3-5′ offshore and going off was the report. where? can’t say. maybe see ya there. have a nice day….

do you know where the shrimp trucks are parked in haleiwa? right across from mcdonalds? anyway, there is the thai food truck that sells pretty dam good thai food. wait, let me take that back, dam dam good thai food. i tried the chicken curry and oh my gosh!!! oishi!!! little creamy, spicy, and healthy… i don’t know the name of this truck because that hungry guy is blocking the name… hey, move your head!! anyway, if you want to find out more info on this thai food truck, you can call that number. 381-8091.

check out the menu. the pad thai noodle and the fried rice looked pretty dam good too….

then i tried this weird soymilk drink called “yeo’s”. ummm, not for me… i prefer water….

good evening. cold morning and cool day with these north winds. the waves have been pretty bad for a while now and i’m starting to feel like north shore 08-09′ season is done. what happened to all my barrels? ahhhh…. keeping my fingers crossed. as for now, south/west winds this weekend so even worst winds for the island. the good thing is it won’t be so chilly anymore… have a warm evening…

see that black shade spot in the water? those are thousands of little fish making a shadow in the water. usually there would be 50 fishermen on it trying to catch this little fish to eat, or for bait. there was only three this day. three lucky fisherman…

every time this guy threw out the pole, he caught a fish… the were biting like crazy….

what to do with all these fish? take it home and fry it up for dinner? or use it for bait to catch bigger fish? either works…
