BIG rocky point 2pm.

i surfed sunset beach this morning. 8′ solid sets. fun, fun, fun….

good morning. 7am and the waves are looking pretty fine around the island. north shore’s in the 4-6′ range with bigger sets. pipe looks soso with 25 guys out. i bet haleiwa is going off!! town still has waves. chest high at bowls with clean conditions. 20 guys out there already and also looking pretty crowded at ala moana park. nice conditions everywhere. i’m calling epic haleiwa and backdoor around 10am when the tide drops. see you out there…

sweet 16 is a huge birthday for girls here in america. they go big. and kelia went big. check out this hummer limo they pulled up in. yeah, all the kids got out of this limo and i was pissed off because i wasn’t invited… why??? haha…

if you saw the set up at the club last night, you would think paris hilton was in town. the paparazzi and so many beautiful people showed up. it was a pretty awesome birthday for kelia and it was so good to see her grown up unto a fine young lady….

this is just 1/100th of the party. all the top amateur surfers came, along with kelia’s friends carissa moore, and wct surfer coco ho. hey, i shot some video so stay tuned for youtube…

i stole this photo off kairi’s blog. the kids showed up and had a few beers with seth. haha. i’m just joking… i wish i were these kids father. all great kids with their own personalities…. fun fun and fun…. i’m going to have a fun time watching these kids growing up into surf rats…
