ohayo gozaimasu. 6:40am tuesday morning. chilli north winds now making the waves up in the north shore junky. it looks 4-5′ or so but not that good. the conditions in town are epic, but small. looking good for a dive. but i’m too dam tired from yesterdays all day dive… keep warm and have a nice day….

i was driving home yesterday from diving and was stuck in traffic. i was so hungry so when i seen this guy next to me eating a plate lunch when he was driving, i wanted to call the cops. that’s so dangerous. but at the same time, i wish i could have been eating a plate lunch too. i was so hungry…

kazubo-san keeps on telling me that hawaii is just like okinawa. i totally agree…. mensore=aloha….

kazuma, atsuko-san, kazubo-san, and shoki. we have fun in hawaii just like how we have fun in okinawa…. i’m so glad to know such nice people….

and last, i was sitting outside of imanas waiting for everybody. i looked down and seen this coin. it looked familiar… it was a 100 rupiah coin from indonesia. what the heck was an indonesian coin doing at a bench in front of a japanese restaurant in hawaii???? was garut here??? isn’t that kind of weird??? anyway, i kept it because it might bring me good luck… maybe a bintang will pop up in my refridge….

good evening. kenji sahara called me this morning and told me that the waves on the north shore was shitty. so hayato and i decided to join kyle and james for a blue water adventure….

10 miles out to see, we jumped in for our first dive. i’m guessing 1000′ feet deep with just us and the sharks. it was hayato’s first blue water adventure and i could imagine how he was freaking. jumping into the deep blue, throwing dead saba in the water, and waiting for something to come up. and you never know what will come up. i’m glad he was on the boat when the hungry shark started eating the chum….

we dove the deep, then came into the shallow for reef fish… mix bag of good fish…

this is my first “ono” or sawara. it’s not that big but it’s a keeper. sashimi is on the menu for this week… in my right hand are “goats”. the most expensive fish in hawaii…

straight from kaneohe pier to imanas izakaya on king street. team okinawa, team yamari, and team kinsan. what an awesome dinner… hayato and i were freezing our asses on the boat today so the first thing we ordered was “hot tea”…. then sashimi, then chanko nabe, then beers, then shochu… you don’t even know how tired i am right now. i can’t even believe i’m doing my blog….

sashimi moriwase. ama ebi, maguro, hamachi, uni, tai, salmon, awabi, and mirugai. it was soooooo good……
**back to kenji sahara. i heard later today from kinsan that the waves on the north shore was epic!! kenji told everybody not to tell me that he gave me the wrong report. kenji is lucky i caught fish today. if i didn’t, i would never forgive him… haha… payback is a bitch… good night….

it’s so amazing how different the weather can be in different places at the same time. north shore was cloudy and overcast yesterday morning. and ala moana was freakin paradise. where ever the sun is, you will find me… by the way, the waves at bowls was pretty dam fun. chest high and long ass rides. and uncrowded. wish you were there…

i have a couple sets of diving equipment. i usually leave one in japan and one in hawaii. now i have one more in hawaii. i don’t want to miss that golden day so one set will be at my house in town, and the other set will be going to the go-naminori house on the north shore. so to all my diving buddies, i’m freaking ready for anything, anytime, anywhere. let’s go poke squid….

the story i made up yesterday was a little lie. well, you really can’t call a dream a lie right? haha.. that harley davidson was being rented for a day to the japanese couple sitting on the bike. they are professional dancers in japan. not the kind at femmnu, they are professional ball room dancers. next time i go to chiba, i’m going to take lessons from them. then i’m going to go to a club in town and bust out my moves. stay away, john travolta is back!! the guy in the back is morikawa-san from chiba. we had a super fun session at bowls. and get this, i actually did a hang five on a longboard. i’m going for ten next time… have a nice day….
