good morning. 7am on this west wind aloha friday. ok, who set off the panic button yesterday? they closed all public and private schools today because of the forecasted strong winds. i think they went a little too far. i’ve seen it way worst then this. oh well, i guess the kids are lucky to have a 4 day weekend. the news is telling people to stay indoors but that’s something i can’t do. waves on the north/west/south shores are unridable. i’m throwing my surfboard and speargun in my car, picking up hayato, and going to find something to do. have a safe windy day!!!

DID I EVER TELL YOU ABOUT ONE OF MY DREAMS BACK IN JULY 2006? JULY 1, 2006 WAS THE DAY WE LAUNCHED THIS WEBSITE: GO-NAMINORI.COM. SINCE THAT DAY, ONE OF MY MANY DREAMS HAS FINALLY COME TRUE. AND A LOT SOONER THAN EXPECTED. WHAT WAS MY DREAM? IT WAS TO RENT A HOUSE ON THE NORTH SHORE DURING THE WINTER SEASON WHEN ALL OF MY JAPANESE FRIENDS AND SPONSORS COME TO HAWAII. YUP, I THOUGHT I WAS DREAMING UNTIL THE DAY FINALLY CAME, WHICH WAS YESTERDAY. WE RENTED A 3 BEDROOM HOUSE RIGHT AT ROCKY POINT AND WILL BE THERE FOR THE NEXT 2 MONTHS. YEAH, IT’S TIME TO GO BIG AND TIME TO WORK HARDER FOR MY NEW ULTIMATE DREAM. WHICH IS TO BUY A HUGE 10 BEDROOM HOUSE RIGHT IN FRONT OF PIPELINE. THIS IS ONE CLASSIC EXAMPLE HOW HARD WORK PAYS OFF. DREAM, WORK TOWARDS IT, AND WHEN THAT DAY COMES, IT’S ALL WORTH IT, AND MUCH MUCH MORE….. SURF YOUR DREAMS….

good windy thursday evening. it’s one of those days you drive around the island looking for a good spot only to find a lot of guys out. so this is what i did. i jumped in my car wanting to surf, went to pick up hayato, he threw his board in my car, we talked for 30 seconds, he jumped back out, and i came back home. yeah, after i picked him up, i wasn’t in the mood to drive to the other side of the island to surf with a lot of people. so i came back home and started my day all over…

and it started out with a custom made ramen. i was bored and hungry. so i made myself a special ramen with barbecue meat, egg, kim chee, and nori. gosh, it was pretty dam good. i could open a shop and sell it…
so after i ate my ramen, i went to buy a new phone. it’s about time i get a good phone so i could do these blogs live. i ended up in the store for 2 hours, came home and was trying to figure out my new phone for 3 hours. i was getting pretty frustrating with all the fancy features, most i don’t need. all i wanted was a phone to do my blogs and i got mini computer that was so hard to use. and after all that time, i found out i can’t do blogs from it. shit!!!! now i have to go back to the store and do it all again tomorrow…. HELP!!!

so what does a frustrated guy do? he eats a great dinner. i went down my street to Maguroya and ate a maguro kama teishoku. along with all kinds of sushi. gosh, eating good food can really make a person feel so good. i felt so good until my phone rang and couldn’t figure out how to answer it….
