March 15, 2025 Hawaii Surf Report

Yesterday once more:  Full throttle down the line…

Good morning 4:40am.
North shore 4-6′ and good.
Ala Moana waist high and clean.
Diamond Head chest high.
Light East winds at 10mph.
Sun, clouds, and showers.
Going to the sea.
Have a wonderful day!

Life is Better

It was another beautiful morning in the ocean.  Better waves and less wind today so much better conditions.  Deco-san always surfing so smooth.

Tokura-san has been surfing every single day.  He has so much energy padding for waves and has caught more waves than I’ve ever seen him catch before.  Life only gets better…

Late last night I drove all the way to Hawaii Kai looking for clear sky.  I wanted to see the total lunar eclipse and right when I was about to give up, it popped out between the clouds.  It was so beautiful!

Look what my Mom has been keeping all these years.  It’s my Grandma’s measuring square.

It’s a custom dress maker’s square designed by K. Kimata.  It was made back in June of 1931.  OMG, that’s 94 years old!  It’s in perfect condition and will probably last another 100 years.

I just bought 2 trees.  One is a lemon tree and one is a tangerine tree.

The lemons are already fruiting so I’ll make some refreshing lemonade very soon!

Happy Aloha Friday!

Wave of Friday morning:  Blue sky, warm water, and endless rides. Tokura-san surfing so good!
