April 20, 2023 Hawaii Surf Report

Back in the day:  The young Seth Moniz @ Yamari.

Good morning 4:30am.

North shore head high and really good.
Ala Moana waist high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and good.
No wind so clean morning conditions.
Sunny and warm.
Going to the sea.
Have a wonderful day!

Fresh Catch of the Day

OMG, the heavy rain last night was crazy!  Lots of power outages, fallen trees, and very dirty water.

I grabbed a couple fish out of my cooler, cleaned it, and filleted it.  The meat was so fresh!

Continuing to eat very healthy and happy food.

This is my favorite.  Carpaccio!!!

Thank you Nao-san for the amazing photo.  After I saw this, I started looking for a ticket to Japan!

Winds are backing down so the South shore will be ridable tomorrow.  I already know where the best spot will be.  See you there!

My Blue Comfort Zone

I couldn’t believe how loud the whales were.  Once you put your head underwater, you could her them crying, singing, and communicating.  It was so loud that you could hear it very clearly in my cameras audio.  It’s super cool!

This view from deep down below is mesmerizing.  I don’t think there is any other way to connect to the ocean like this.  The feeling, the sounds, and the sights are unexplainable.  You’re so relaxed that if you didn’t make it back up, you would be at peace.  Sometimes it gets so comfortable that I almost fall asleep.  I can’t wait to go back to my comfort zone.
