Wai Kai

I got home from the airport yesterday and my friend texted me “come to the wave pool Wai Kai, we are here.”  I was way too tired to drive out to the West side so I passed.  Then he showed me the video of that wave.  Then when I saw this surfer on the wave, I knew that style.  It was my friend Dexter Shimabukuro!  He was ripping!

Someday I’ll give it a try.  But not yet because first I want to jump in the real ocean!

I just jumped on the scale and my weight was 85kg!  Omg, that’s 187lbs!  This is the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life.  So from today, it’s diet time.  Thank goodness Kimura-san put some Yamari Shirasu in my suitcase.

This will be my dinner for the next few days.  Healthy and happy.  Thank you Yamari!

Still had a lot of photos on my desktop so going to upload them before deleting.  Those epic days at Diamond Head seems so long ago.  But the good thing is it’s exactly like this today so that’s were I’m going.

Hoping to see a colorful rainbow soon.

And hoping to see the weather changing like this. Weird weather for the next week so expect epic nature photos.

Home Sweet Hawaiian Time

This trip I spent in Kansai because I was hanging out with my family and friends from Hawaii.  14 days goes by pretty fast when you’re having fun.  At the end, I was pretty tired and ready to come home.  I want to thank my Wakayama guides for the kindness to us.  My Sister-in-Law was already looking for a ticket for her next trip.  Haha.

Thank you Te-chan, Kimura-san, and all the Wakayama locals we met along the way.  My family and friends have fallen in love with Wakayama because of you guys!

On the flight home, all I could think about was grabbing my wing and foiling.

The worlds biggest golf ball.

Usually when I get home, my baggage is already waiting for me when I pass immigrations.  This time, it took 1 hour to get my baggage!!!  When the conveyer belt started moving, everybody started clapping and cheering.  Hawaiian Airlines on Hawaiian time.  Haha.
