It was a really relaxing morning out at Bowls.  The morning Uncles were all out.  These guys are cool!

Good rides on the glassy surface.  

Nakahodo-san caught a lot of nice lefts.  I was following him on this one.

Bottom turn looking good.

Arms in the right place.

Knees bent so really good.

Right as he was going to hit the lip, the spray off his board went into my eyes and I fell.  

Our group of 3 Boot Campers paddled in very happy.  A very successful session.

Round 2 at Diamond Head.  Smaller than yesterday and hard to surf.  We are only getting wiser and stronger putting in the time at this challenging wave.  I can already see the results…

Shoulder high and perfect! John at Bowls.

This looks like paradise right?  BUT, sometimes it’s not so much of a paradise.  Sitting here for hours taking video making sure I don’t miss anyones wave.  What you can’t see in this photo are the flies, ants, and bugs.  What you can’t smell in this photo is the cat poop, dog poop, and mongoose poop.  

Then the sprinklers go on and get you all wet.  

Oh, here are the flies that land on your whole body from head to toe.  The worst is when it lands on your lips.  When I go home, the first thing I do is take a hot shower with good soap.  

Then the mongoose come out and try to bite you.  Nah, just joking, but they do scare me.

I was sitting under this tree for shade, a bird just decided to poop on my head.  A thick warm and wet poop all in my hair.  That was gross.  

But no complaints here because I always feel things can be worst.  I made one of the girls sit here for 5 minutes and she couldn’t handle it.  Haha.
