Mothers Love…

The pandemic gave me a lot of time to think.  To think about how combining my students will help everyone.  For me, it’s easier to compare each of them by watching each other.  For them, it turns a little competitive and that brings out the best of their ability.  And the best thing is, it’s good to meet fellow surfers because we all have one thing in common.  Stoke!  

Early morning again and now we can all see.  Before nobody could, but now everybody can.  This will improve your skill in reading the ocean, waves, and natural instincts.  It’s almost addicting. 

We’re doing Boot Camp to better our surfing.  And this Boot Camp is working really good because I see huge improvements!  

We also learn about manners, taking turns, and being aware of our surrounding.  This is all important aspects of surfing.  

We also learn about riding the waves to the end.  There is no reason not to. 

And we learn how to share.  This is important because we learn how to judge distance, judge timing, and judge each other.  It’s only 3 days of Boot Camp so far and the results are amazing!  Good job Boys!

My afternoon session is another story.  We went to my secret spot and SCORED!!!  Epic waves and nobody.  I got my first barrel of 2023!!!

It was Saints 1st Birthday so we all went into the mountains to celebrate it!  This playground is old and has never been upgraded, BUT, I personally think this is one of the best playgrounds in Hawaii.  Nobody is ever here, it’s naturally green from the rain water, and it’s on top of a high mountain so the air is super fresh.  I use to take the kids here a lot and they always loved it!

It’s always fun getting the family and kids together.  Our family is pretty huge and we all love each other very much.  No dramas and only joy! 

Happy 1st Birthday Saint!  I can’t wait to take you surfing!  

Guess where Honouliwai was most of the time?  Yes, he was sneaking up to the desert table and eating all the candy.  Haha.
