Round 1:  Epic morning session with the girls!  The bottom turn is the most important part of a wave and this girl is perfecting it.

Two girls pushing each other to better themselves in every aspect of surfing.  The results are pretty impressive. 

It seems like I’m playing, but I’m actually working in the best office in the world.  For all my students who are trying to figure out where to put your back foot on your surfboard, this is where it belongs.  

Round 2:  Takei-san wanted to ride 20 waves more so that’s what we did.

A happy couple after a happy surf session.  It was a pleasure watching you both ride a hundred waves yesterday and today.

Round 3:  Secret spot with the girls. Takami-san and Toda-san joined us for the super secret session.  Sharing waves and sharing laughter.  A long day and totally sunburnt again.  Goodnight.

I was riding a wave in the morning and saw something swimming under me.  It turned out to be a school of Omilu.  They kept on riding with me until I looked down too long and fell.  Haha.  

The underwater world is pretty magical.  I would love to be a fish.

There is a secret spot on the South shore that catches the biggest waves when there is a swell.  It’s very powerful and very hard to surf.  But when you get a good one, it feels like you’re surfing on the North Shore.  

The wave keeps on going and going.  It’s the perfect place to practice cutbacks.  Well done…
