December 5, 2023 Hawaii Surf Report

Yesterday once more:  The waiting game…

Good morning 5am.
High surf warning.
Box jellyfish warning.
North shore coming up to 10-12′ today.
Ala Moana knee high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Trade winds back at 25mph.
Sunny and cool.
Have a wonderful day!

Santa’s Foil

Early morning Bowls was good again.  Bigger and cleaner than yesterday.  Not too many surfers because of the box jellyfish warning.  But no jellyfish today.  Only clean water, good waves, and good vibes.

Two days in a row on the foil and starting to feel comfortable again.  It’s amazing how much speed I can get on these little waves.

Thank goodness I got back into surfing because now I can surf on my foil.  The one thing is I’ve been riding the same equipment for a while so things are starting to get boring.  I heard there are a lot of new foils out now so maybe Santa will bring me a faster one for Christmas.

Reflection

This morning’s reflection. Like a mirror.
