Kaiser Bowls Barrels

The waves were onshore this afternoon but after looking at the clouds starting to move off shore, it was just a matter of time the waves will be straight offshore and barreling.  I asked Hashimoto-san if he wanted a challenge.  Kaiser’s is always a challenge because it’s powerful, shallow, and barreling.

Since the waves were junk before we paddled out, there were only 3 surfers.  In 10 minutes, the waves went from junky to epic!

Hashimoto-san loved the challenge.  Compared to Bowls, this was high level surfing.

Pretty nice shot passing by on the rights.  Staying focused and keeping calm.

It’s been a while since I got barreled so today was a success!   We never expected anything but got everything!  Lucky timing…

November 3, 2023 Hawaii Surf Report

Back to the waiting game…

Good morning 5:10am.
North shore chest high and good.
Ala Moana waist high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and good.
Light winds in the morning, trade winds coming back today.
Sunny and warm.
Going to the sea.
Have a wonderful day!

One Day Late

Woke up to another beautiful day.  Light winds, warm water, clear sky, and perfect waves.  Hashimoto-san with some really good rides today.

I just love riding behind surfers and seeing what they’re seeing.  Isn’t this view amazing?

Everybody must have heard how good it was yesterday because there were triple the amount of surfers out there today.  Sorry, one day too late.  When will the next South swell come?  Maybe tomorrow, or maybe next year.  Don’t miss it.

As for Hashimoto-san Boot Camp, everything is going as planned.  I witnessed some amazing rides today.  Good job!
