7/11 Inki bu u….

good morning. 5:30 am and i’m stepping out of concrete jungle. it’s my first time driving a car in tokyo so i better get out of here before tokyo wakes up and i’ll be stuck in traffic for hours. i’m in ebisu now and have no idea how to get out. i’ll ask isaiah for directions. haha. if you see a white van making u-turns and looking lost, it’s probably us. see you in shonan! have a nice day….

every single person that comes from hawaii loves 7/11, including myself. why? because it’s different. the food assortment is just awesome. when we go in there, we fill up our baskets up and everybody is just eating and eating on our long drives. yeah, we have no time to stop for lunch. that’s how busy we are. so i guess 7/11 is a big part of our trip. thanks 7/11 inki bu u….

akudo-san has a pretty awesome shop in ebisu, tokyo. i can see why a lot of people go there..

check out this nice bike. i think it would work out great for my triathlon….

jasmin’s salmon pasta was awesome!!! i wish i had more right now!

one last thing. none of us here are missing hawaii. i can guarantee that!

since the start of go-naminori, all but good things have been happening. we’re all moving forward in a positive way and presenting professional surfing as a serious, but happy way of life. i’ve had many of friends before this started and now, i have a lot more. it feels like a happy family that’s growing together. we’ve all become closer and all support each other in any direction we choose. i’ve been going to the beach recently and a lot of people have been coming up to me and saying that they check go-naminori everyday. they know everything about everybody that’s on the site. that makes me pretty dam happy. we’re all in this together to create a positive vibe for everybody’s dreams to come true. thanks for all you support!

about 2 years ago, i received a really touching email from somebody. that somebody and i had a lot in common. we’re both from hawaii, both making a career in japan, both surfing as professionals, both have awesome sponsors, both have japanese roots, and both have big dreams. that somebody is Dave Yamaya. dave’s really has a kind heart and i’ve heard only good things about him. he lives in kamogawa and supports the local surfing community there. dave’s talented and has a lot of dreams similar to mine. so just wanted to say to dave, “hey, welcome to the go-naminori family.” let’s take this site to the next level!!!
