A Day in Bali

a day in Bali usually looks like this.  going in for a dawn patrol in front of my villa.  then coming back to a sweet and healthy breakfast.

then in the evening, sitting on the beach at sunset watching all he happy people enjoying life again.  including me.

and in-between driving around searching for the best waves on this 8′ high tide.

Uluwatu was so perfect!  i haven’t surfed here in a very long time so it felt good to get long rides at one of the most famous spots in the world.

i saw Rio Waida out there.  super cool Indonesian kid that is the most famous surfer in Indonesia now.  i hope makes the WCT tour someday.   he’s half Japanese so same like my nephews.   pretty cool to have some Japanese blood on the World Tour.  Go-Rio!

hanging out with friends is the best.  catching up on the old times while eating the most delicious meals Bali has to offer.

after a long day including a 2 hour massage, i’m always happy to come back to my bed.  in Bali, you don’t need much money to live like a King.  that’s why i love this place so much.  i’ve been only here for 3 days and i’m still super excited about traveling again.  i’m in bed thinking about my next surf trip.  haha…

Golden Happy Ending

Bali is so different now.  the pandemic has closed so many shops, many lost jobs, and it’s still very slow.  i’m glad i as a tourist came back because this economy needs surfers back.

a milkshake at the Single Fin bar at Uluwatu.

a magic board will change your life.  and 2 magic boards will double the pleasure.

sunset time at Canggu.  a very long day but always a happy ending!!!
